Gregory Hawthorne was born in Massachusetts in 1973. Coming from an ordinary family, he was fascinated by numbers and logic from an early age. During his university years, he majored in Financial Engineering and Applied Mathematics and experienced the cruelty of risk for the first time during the market turmoil of "Black Wednesday." This experience gave him a profound realization: finance is not just a game of numbers, but also about human nature, emotions and responsibility.
After graduation, he joined Lehman Brothers on Wall Street as a quantitative analyst. For more than a decade, he witnessed the limits of quantitative models in both prosperity and crisis, until Lehman Brothers collapsed in 2008. At that moment, his life trajectory changed completely. Having personally witnessed countless families lose their wealth, he realized that without tools capable of truly understanding complexity, finance would inevitably leave the public in distress.

His original intention was not merely to make a profit, but to combine education with investment to help ordinary people stand up again.
